Tighten up?
This one is worth noting and integrating. (result of discussion with Chat GTP)
I’ve been thinking about how problems actually show up.
A lot of the focus lately has been on standards—doing things better, tightening things up, holding the line.
But underneath that, there’s another layer that doesn’t get talked about as much.
Slow communication.
Information that doesn’t travel far enough.
People changing roles faster than the system updates around them.
I still see emails expecting action from folks who left years ago.
And sometimes the right person doesn’t get pulled in until things are already past the point of easy fixes.
At that point, it’s hard to tell what the real problem is.
Was something ignored?
Or did it just never reach the person who could act on it?
A higher standard sounds right.
But a regular day will usually show you where the system itself is still catching up.
