 I not sure if anyone knows this, but I am a bit of a science fiction fan.


Part of sci-fi is accepting the primus that some great technology comes about and due to unforeseen consequence creates an adventure.

Elon Musk shared a video of his vision of automation and AI creating a world of fantastic abundance. Goods and transportation will be free. Imagine if everyone in the world could have anything they want. Sounds pretty good on the surface right?

It has been my experience that people generally do not know what they want, and real problems occur when they think they do but don't think it out or just grab for everything, but end up with nothing. Who will do well in this future of abundance? What kind of person will thrive in having everything?

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Hmm, He maketh me to lie down in green pastures? Does it require the Lord's guidance just to get us to relax and enjoy the green pasture?
